Very crunchy cheese sticks

INGREDIENTS

  • 400 g of all-purpose flour
  • ΒΌ packet of baking powder
  • 180 g of butter
  • 1 egg
  • 3 dl of white yogurt
  • pinch of salt
  • grated hard cheese to taste
  • caraway seeds

METHOD

  1. Mix the flour and baking powder, add salt, and grate the butter. Mix well and add yogurt. Knead the dough until smooth.
  2. Roll out the dough and cut it into pieces according to your preference. Some prefer longer strips, others triangles or rectangles. The important thing is to maintain the size of a single bite.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  4. Brush the cut dough with beaten egg, then sprinkle with grated cheese and caraway seeds.
  5. Bake for approximately 25 minutes or until the sticks are golden brown.
