Homemade classic hummus

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cans of chickpeas
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh cilantro
  • Curry for seasoning and ground cumin

METHOD

  1. The preparation of the hummus itself is very simple. Blend all the ingredients until smooth, adjusting the seasoning to taste. If you only have dry chickpeas at home instead of canned ones, no problem. Soak the chickpeas overnight in water. The next day, drain the water, put the chickpeas in a pot, add clean water, and then simmer until soft.
